WE DID IT.

SOMEHOW, SOME WAY, WITH MAGICAL PLAYING, WE GOT GOLD WITH HONOURS.

i am still stunned by this achievement, even though the results have been out for like, two days.
gold with honours. what we had aimed for with uncertainty and hopefulness.
what our seniors had pinned for since 2005, RGGE's dream, as yufang has said.
i don't care this is going to be an emo post.
i really love RGGE alot.
not because of the honour or the prestige of GWH, but because of the whole team, the bond of the whole ensemble.
that day, i was having EXCO meeting, and simmy and the rest went to the foyer for the results already. i was so shocked, just so shocked when they shouted that we had honours.
simmy said i should have heard their screams from the foyer.
well i didn't!
then everone was hugging, screaming, crying, smiling, the feeling is just indescribable.
and then mr chua came back and he was running towards us with fingers that said victory! (haha, its just a say cheese sign lah)
everyone could tell that he was proud of us.
from the minute when the bass guitar tuning had some problems, i could sense he was very scared. he was gesturing wildly and oh man, was i scared too.
but that all does not matter. now, we can safely say that RGGE is accomplished, not just some lousy performing arts cca beside strings and CO, but a good cca!
thank you all the seniors, for all the support and encouragement, not forgetting yufang, and her wonderful, inspirational post.
this is all your hard work and dedication, this award is what you all have worked hard to inspire us to strive towards it as well.

i will always remember this moment, where RGGE got gold with honours.
